Catherine Rose has a lifetime of
small business experience. In 1957,
her father, Tom Rutherford and his
brother founded Atlas Construction
Specialties Co. with her mother and
aunt also working in the family
business. As a fledging business,
there were many dinnertime
discussions revolving around
business operations. In 1975, Cathy
and her husband, Jim in conjunction
with Cathy’s cousins purchased the
family business. For 30 years, Cathy
and Jim actively managed Atlas
Construction Specialties Co., Inc.,
while maintaining the family
tradition of dinnertime discussion
regarding business operations. In
September, 2003, they sold the
business to their daughter, her
husband and their sales manager and
his wife.
Cathy’s niche within the company was
overseeing all the accounting, human
resources, legal and administrative
needs of the business. Cathy’s
mantra was “How do we continue to do
what we do, better and more
efficiently while maintaining our
pride of presentation.”
As a member of Generational Wealth
Partners, Cathy brings her attention
to detail, analytical and
administrative skills to help
facilitate each client’s experience.

and Jennifer, along with son-in-law
